What better way to encourage and build up than to share the reasons that you're grateful for someone's role in your life. Speak that life over them, call out the gold, let them hear you give thanks for them. What a beautiful way to sow in this season in your relationships.
"Compassion opens limitless doors to human connect "Compassion opens limitless doors to human connection."

This is why for the month of March we've given the theme "Compassion" to an underlying message about connecting and relationships. Because it's when our hearts are aligned with grace, love, and kindness that we meet each other with true connection and openness.

So today, we are nudging you to send that message, make that call, or pop into someone's day to connect! Offer to take them for a coffee or a meal, bring along our devotional or journal, and open up the word together as you discuss your stories. We all could use a listening ear, some faith-filled advice, and a prayer from time to time. And there is no better moment to lean into relationships than right now.

Whether there is a battle you're facing in your ow Whether there is a battle you're facing in your own story or you're wanting to pray for the state of our world, here are some simple guidelines for praying into this area.

The goal is to take our eyes off of what's around us and below, here on earth. Because that will make us begin to feel hopeless in humanity. The goal is to look to God, what He has done for generations before and how He will always overcome.

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in his wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace."

"Delight yourself in the Lord: and He will give yo "Delight yourself in the Lord: and He will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4

Ah, we love this verse and how full of expectation and hope it is! And it is our human nature to look at this verse and feel excited about the second half of it - the promise for US. But, God puts a precursor to the promise. We're first called to DELIGHT ourselves in the Lord. Not delight in our achievements, goals, dreams, desires even... No. Delight ourselves in Him! Find wonder in Him. And from that, the overflow of that will be that He will give us the desires of our heart.

Truly delighting in God will shift our focus from our desires to Him. Naturally we will seek His heart for our lives, the people around us and His plan for us.

So, how do you delight yourself in God? Well the Hebrew word for 'delight' is 'anag' and it simply means to FIND ENJOYMENT IN GOD. Right where you are now, lean into Him and find delight in His presence, His plans, His help, His creation...

Do something today that brings you a sense of delight in the Lord and soak it all in. And then, come tell us about it! What are you delighting in the Lord about today? ✨
